8 Million kWh Clean Power: China's Zero-Carbon Park Blueprint

Jul 18, 2025

In 1771, Arkwright opened the first water-powered spinning mill in Manchester, marking the beginning of modern factories. At this time, it was more than 100 years before the world's first power station was built, and water power became the energy supply for the earliest factories. A hundred years later, in 1896, the world's first industrial park was launched in the UK.

It might be difficult for craftsmen in the 20th century to imagine that a hundred years later, manufacturing factories would not only not need electricity supply, but could even become generators and provide electricity resources to the outside world.

From factories powered by water power to today's zero-carbon parks, this series of updates and iterations is due to the rapid development of the photovoltaic industry.

Entering the park, the photovoltaic carport and photovoltaic rainbow corridor are the first to come into view. The photovoltaic carport and photovoltaic corridor in the park make full use of the original site advantages. After multiple rounds of experimental calculations, Skyworth selected a 5-degree "golden inclination" with a single column solution to achieve a large span and large space, while also having the optimal angle for beautiful lighting and drainage, so as to achieve the maximum use efficiency of power generation in the power station.

At the same time, the park's photovoltaic storage and charging integrated cabinet, the integrated container design integrates energy storage batteries, PCS and other units, and realizes the "source storage load storage" synergy through the smart energy management system. The configured 1840kW/2870kWh energy storage system, under the dispatch of the smart energy management platform, effectively improves energy utilization efficiency and stability.

On the day of the visit, on the roof of the park, drones were working with intelligent cleaning robots to clean the photovoltaic power station. High-pressure water flow and electric roller brushes ensured the cleanliness of the components while reducing manual high-risk operations.

In addition, the high-precision sensors carried by drones can accurately capture the real-time status of components at an altitude of 100 meters, greatly reducing the difficulty of the work of operation and maintenance personnel. The ultimate goal of intelligent operation and maintenance is not only to reduce costs and increase efficiency, but also to achieve "zero carbon" quantifiable, manageable and sustainable.

It is worth noting that the quick-install solar bracket system standing on the roof is also a major highlight product. According to the introduction, this revolutionary bracket product compresses the height of the component from the ground to 35 cm, and the wind deflector design significantly enhances the wind pressure resistance.

For owners, the bracket cost can be reduced by up to 57%. At the same time, standardized and modular design and installation saves 50% of the installation time compared to conventional cement flat roof brackets, greatly reducing the station construction cycle.

It is understood that the total installed capacity of the zero-carbon park is 6.54MW, and the annual power generation is nearly 8000MWh, which is equivalent to reducing 7332 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. In the park, photovoltaic power generation, 1840kW/2870kWh energy storage system, integrated photovoltaic storage and charging cabinet, and virtual power plant dispatching constitute a complete energy ecosystem.

Looking down from the perspective of a drone, the 6.4MW photovoltaic matrix shines brightly in the sun. This is not only a technical testing ground, but also an incubator for business models. From a product supplier to a zero-carbon ecosystem builder, Skyworth Photovoltaic has revealed the future trend of photovoltaic development with actual cases.
