Recently, as the first prestressed pipe pile sank steadily into the seabed, the Shandong Jinneng Qiziwan 200MW offshore photovoltaic power generation project, invested and constructed by Qingdao Jinneng Photovoltaic Power Generation Co., Ltd. under Datang Group and constructed by Tianjin Port and Shipping Engineering Co., Ltd., officially started.
The project is located in the sea area of Qingdao City, Shandong Province. The planned total installed capacity on the AC side is as high as 200MW, and the actual installed capacity on the DC side is about 264.7402MWp. It is expected to complete the construction of about 810,000 linear meters of offshore prestressed pipe piles and install about 370,000 solar panels.
In addition, the project will also build a new 220kV onshore substation to provide strong guarantee for power transmission. After the project is completed, the annual average power generation is expected to reach more than 300 million kWh, which is equivalent to saving 133,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by 330,000 tons per year.
