1.92GW! Ningguoyun photovoltaic project is about to be connected to the grid!

Recently, Ningxia Electric Power Investment Group announced good news that the Ningguoyun Yanchi Gaoshawo 1.2GW wind and solar project and the Ningguoyun Lingwu 1GW photovoltaic composite project, undertaken by its new energy company, have successfully reversed power at the booster station and are about to be connected to the grid.

This indicates that the project has the core conditions for access to the grid and operation, laying a key foundation for the "6.30" project to be connected to the grid and put into operation. The booster station construction and reverse power transmission work were completed in only 65 days, creating a new speed for project construction.

It is understood that the Ningguoyun Yanchi Gaoshawo 1.2GW wind and solar project is located in Gaoshawo, Yanchi County, with a total installed capacity of 1.2GW, including 0.92GW photovoltaic power generation installed capacity and 0.28GW wind power installed capacity. A 330kV booster station and transmission line are built to connect to the State Grid Beidi 750kV substation, covering an area of ​​about 28,000 acres. At present, the photovoltaic composite project has entered the commissioning stage and is scheduled to be connected to the grid for power generation at full capacity on June 30, and the wind power project is scheduled to be connected to the grid for power generation at the end of December.

The Ningguoyun Lingwu 1GW photovoltaic composite project is a key photovoltaic power generation project in the autonomous region's silicon-based industry green power park, and is also the largest photovoltaic composite project undertaken by the new energy company. The project is located in Majiatan Town, Lingwu City, with a total area of ​​24,000 acres. The planned construction capacity is 1,000MW, and a 330kV substation and a 36-kilometer-long 330kV transmission line will be built to eventually connect to the Beidi 750kV substation. After the project is completed, it will focus on ensuring the green power replacement needs of enterprises in the Yinchuan Economic Development Zone. It is expected to provide 1.812 billion kWh of new energy electricity per year, which can meet 18% of the electricity demand of high-energy-consuming enterprises in the park. Compared with coal-fired power plants of the same scale, it can reduce standard coal consumption by 556,400 tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 1.5297 million tons each year, while reducing emissions of pollutants such as smoke and dust by 108.75 tons, effectively increasing the proportion of green power use and reducing corporate electricity costs. After the project is connected to the grid, it will provide stable green electricity support for the surrounding characteristic and advantageous industries, help Ningxia build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, and accelerate the high-quality development of the autonomous region's green electricity park construction.
